Lacoste FW24 Brings Back Sporty-Chic Styling

Just a week after celebrated Greek-American designer Pelagia Kolotouros was appointed Lacoste's new creative director, the brand announced its L003 2K24 sneaker line. Refreshingly unique and equally cool, the sneaker drop hinted at an exciting new era for Lacoste– and the brand's Fall/Winter 2024 showcase in Paris did not disappoint.

Inspired by the Années Folles, or the '20s, Lacoste's FW24 collection presents a new take on a golden era of fashion and culture. Pieces throughout the collection pay homage to the brand's roots and founder. Vintage logos take center stage and archival styles find new homes in the ready-to-wear line.

After all, during the '20s, René Lacoste, or "the crocodile," was the world's best tennis player and Paris was the capital of culture and creativity. Reimagining the intricacies of that time, the FW24 collection dares to reinstate athletic styles with a feminine and sensual allure to them.

Hear: The show's upbeat and playful music was curated by the iconic Benji B who regularly plays luxury fashion shows.

See: Lots of greens, oranges and browns along with big bags. Like seen on runways worldwide, Lacoste, too, had lots of skirts-over-pants moments.

Touch: Classic to tennis court fashion, Lacoste amped up the pleats this season. Crisp and beautifully tailored, they were found on mini and midi skirts alike, long dresses and sometimes draped around silhouettes for added movement.
