Lady Gaga Is Giving Gothic Queen in Her New Dress
Lady Gaga embraced the darker side of glam at her lavish LA party. The pop star hosted a joint event with Dom Pérignon at the Sheats-Goldstein Residence last Thursday, where she celebrated the launch of her Rosé Vintage 2008 limited-edition bottle. For the event, Gaga went full goth in a custom black midi-dress from her sister, Natali Germanotta's line, Topo Studio. The piece featured a velvet bodice, a plunging off-the-shoulder neckline, a large silk bow decoration that wrapped around the shoulders and tied at the back, and attached leather gloves.
The "Bad Romance" singer finished the look with a pair of black fishnet stockings, which were strategically ripped at the calves, and a black, lace-up iteration of her signature eight-inch platform boots by Pleaser. Her statement accessory was a white gold and diamond teardrop pendant necklace by Chaumet, named the Rondes de Nuit.
For her glam, the star paired an elegant top-knot updo featuring face-framing tendrils with intentionally pale foundation, theatrical smokey-eye makeup and a glossy pink lip.
In addition to hosting the night, Gaga also took a turn at the DJ booth, playing songs including Beyoncé's Renaissance track "Pure/Honey" and her own The Fame b-side "Money Honey."
While the multi-hyphenate has spent this past summer performing on her long-anticipated Chromatica Ball tour, she's set to begin filming the sequel to Todd Phillips's Joker in the coming months. Gaga announced last August that she joined the cast of Joker: Folie à Deux, as the iconic anti-heroine Harley Quinn. Per Deadline, the film is on track to begin production in December.
