What is My Lady Jane about?
The official synopsis for the Prime Video series is as follows, “Gird your loins for the tragic tale of Lady Jane Grey, the young Tudor noblewoman who was Queen of England for nine days and then beheaded, back in good ol’ 1553. Actually… f*ck that.

Will there be a My Lady Jane season 2?
The series dropped on 27th June and despite quickly becoming a fan-favourite, Prime Video hasn’t confirmed a second season of My Lady Jane just yet. But, fingers crossed!
Who might be in the My Lady Jane season 2 cast?
If another instalment is confirmed, we’d expect the majority of our favourite royals and Ethians to return for more. This could include:

But, as the show is based on a series of books which all have different characters and storylines, they might change things all together!
What could the My Lady Jane season 2 plot be?
So, the series is based on a collection of books author Cynthia Hand, with the first covering the entirety of the first novel. But, there’s a bit of cliffhanger with Jane and Guildford only temporarily escaping from persecution, and Princess Mary likely to still be pursuing them.
So, season two of My Lady Jane could see Jane and Guildford’s story continue, or it could adapt another book from the series, meaning brand new character and storylines. The next book, My Plain Jane, is a retelling of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
Yet, instead of being a penniless orphan who falls in love with Mr. Rochester, Jane is a wannabe detective and ghost hunter trying to find out what he’s really hiding at Thornfield Hall. We’re hooked already!
