Order your Halloween costume by these dates to make sure you get it on time

With Halloween just a few days away, there’s still time to order the costume of your dreams—but you may just have to add some extra shipping costs.
Many retailers are making it easy to shop right up until Oct. 30, so we’ve rounded up the last days that you can order by to get your costume delivered on time.
Spirit Halloween: Monday, Oct. 28
With a massive selection of costumes for the whole family, Spirit Halloween is a key shopping destination for costumes online. Standard shipping ($10.24) typically takes between six to 11 business days, so for a true last-minute shop, your best bet will be International Priority delivery ($50). It takes between one to three business days to get your costumes, so you’ll want to place your order by Monday, Oct. 28 at the latest.

Party City: Friday, Oct. 25
If you’re looking for party decor as well as costumes, you can get everything done in one place thanks to Party City. Be sure to place your order by Wednesday, Oct. 24 in order to get your costumes on time with standard shipping for $9.95. If you wait until Friday, Oct. 25, you’ll still have a chance to get your costume on time with DHL Express shipping, but it’ll cost you an extra $24.95. Any later than that, and you’ll have to head to the stores out in person for your costume.

Amazing Party Store: Sunday, Oct. 27
For all things party, look no further than the Amazing Party Store. In order to get your Halloween costume on time, the website recommends placing your order by Sunday Oct. 27 at the latest. Standard shipping will set you back around $12, and express shipping starts at $20 to ship anywhere across the country.

Amazon: Wednesday, Oct. 30
If you don’t already have an Amazon Prime membership, now’s a great time to consider signing up. Easily filter through costumes to find what’s available with two-day, and even next-day shipping for free, so you can put off your Halloween shopping until as late as Oct. 30.

Etsy: Wednesday, Oct. 30
Another great place to shop for last-minute costumes is Etsy, where you can find unique handmade pieces without having to create them yourself. With a range of options to refine your search, you can filter through available items according to the shipping time, and even search based on what’s eligible for free shipping. Be sure to choose one business day shipping, so you can place your order as late as Oct. 30.
