Lauren Ash celebrated Canada Day as a Californian.

Last week, the Canadian "Superstore" actress, originally from Belleville, Ont., took to Instagram to share a makeup-free, sun-soaked, poolside photo. In the snap, she's seen posing in a black tank top and shorts while holding her dog Peaches and a can of LaCroix, at her Los Angeles home.

"Day before Canada Day and I’ve reached peak Californian," the 39-year-old captioned the post for her more than 282,000 followers.

Fans quickly met Ash's photo, wishing her a happy Canada Day, and praising her for embracing her Canadian roots.

"Meh, sorry but once a Canadian always a Canadian, girl! Maple syrup runs in your veins," one fan penned, while another added, "Love that you're always embracing your Canadian girl roots! Happy Canada Day! PS, you look so happy and healthy."

"You’ll always be Canadian! We’re all born with a maple leaf birthmark hidden somewhere on our bodies," someone else joked.

"Just throw an 'eh' at the end of a sentence and you'll be Canadian-ized again!" another commented.

One person wrote: "Canadian girls do it best, never forget it!"

"You’re Canadian?! You’re even better now!" added another.

Ash took to Instagram again on "Canada Day eve," with a selfie posing with her fellow Canadian "Superstore" castmate, Mark McKinney, who is originally from Ottawa.

"‘Twas a beautiful Canada Day Eve last night indeed. Reunited and it felt so good! Missed you like crazy, @mark_dmckinney!" she wrote.

"Canada Day eve, love that! You look amazing. So glad to see you two are friends!" one fan replied.

"Makes my Canadian heart happy," another person chimed in.

Someone else commented: "My inner Canadian is screaming right now. Love this so much!"

"Two Canadian gems," wrote another, while one fan added: "What an iconic duo. Us Canadians have to stick together! Love to see it."
