Le Creuset unveils new on-trend colour inspired by nature
Le Creuset has just expanded its colour palette with a new botanical and earthy on-trend shade.
Inspired by fresh herbs and blooming gardens, ‘Thyme’ is the latest colourway from the cookware brand.
Echoing the rich hues found in your vegetable garden, the smoky green shade is a tribute to the joy of cooking with ingredients grown close to home. Not to mention, it also plays into the ever-popular green kitchen trend.
Available across nine kitchenware items, including cast iron cookware, oven-to-table stoneware and kitchen accessories, the new rich and elegant colourway is the perfect addition to your autumn tablescape.
Ramekins, mugs, baking dishes and spoon rests, as well as both the round and shallow casserole dishes, make up the Thyme collection – with prices starting from £15.
The new colour also pairs well with the brand’s fiery Volcanic orange shade and warming Nectar yellow, to create a bold and earthy palette that perfectly reflects the season’s hues.
Alternatively, the brand suggests combining it with bright and light shades, such as brand-new White, for a harmonious blend that exudes a sense of calm and serenity.
While mixing and matching it with blue tones, like Azure and Chambray, offers an interesting contrast – or even deep reds like Garnet for a rich and warm aesthetic.
Whatever your kitchen and dining scheme, it’s clear this versatile and rich shade is incredibly complementary.
A Le Creuset spokesperson said: “Inspired by the Mediterranean herb and offering total harmony with nature, Thyme by Le Creuset is here to adapt to all seasons.
“Its botanical and earthy hue allows interiors lovers to welcome the outdoors in, whether dressing for a dinner party or garden party. Pair it with White for a serene ambiance or contrast it with bold blues and reds like Rhone and Chambray for a more dynamic feel.”
