Alan Thicke didn't just make great TV on his sitcom Growing Pains; he also made friends for life. The late actor was honored in a memorial service on Sunday, and his former co-stars made an appearance to say goodbye to the TV dad. Family member Dolly Thicke posted an emotional message on Facebook, calling the memorial "just about perfect."
"So much family and so many historic friends came out to remember our beloved father-figure. Speaking for Alan so beautifully was (I'm realizing now) an all-star cast. We heard from our own Robin Thicke who brought up all dear dad's best friends, Bob Saget, Bill Maher, Alex Trebec," she wrote.
Also in attendance was "the entire cast of Growing Pains including Leo and Kirk Cameron," who traveled to Santa Barbara to honor their late co-star together.

After Thicke's passing, DiCaprio honored his "role model" with a touching tribute. "I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I had to work with Alan early in my career. He had tremendous class, a huge heart, and he taught me and so many others the valuable lessons about humility and gratitude," he wrote.
"I've seen him a number of times over the years and when Alan Thicke walked in the room, quite frankly, no one was cooler. I miss him already."
