Leopard skirts are fall's biggest trend: Shop 12 versions now

If you think you’ve been seeing leopard skirts all around you, on co-workers at the office, on street-style stars, and even while scrolling on Instagram, you’re not imagining it. Leopard skirts are having a big moment in fashion right now.

The main reason can be attributed to Australian label, Réalisation Par, which was founded by Alexandra Spencer and Teale Talbot in 2016. The label has since become popular among top models and celebs including Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Selena Gomez for their polka dot dresses, silk tanks, and skirts. However, it is their “Naomi” skirt that has made a major splash among fashionistas.

The Naomi skirt is a three-quarters midi-length satin silk slip skirt that hits perfectly at your calf. What a quick search on Instagram under the hashtag #leopardskirts reveals, over 6,000 posts populate showcasing women all over the world sporting their leopard skirts. In addition to Réalisation Par’s, other versions have sprouted up from brands like J.Crew, Ann Taylor, and Diane von Furstenberg. Not only have leopard skirts been spotted on street-style stars, but they also continue to be a mainstay on the catwalk too. During fashion weeks in New York, London, and Milan this September — Gucci, Calvin Klein, and Burberry have all showcased leopard skirts in their collections, proving the trend is here to stay.

One of the main reasons the ’90s-style retro skirt has become such a major fashion piece is that it is elegant and stylish, but extremely versatile. You can wear it to the office during the week, out for a date night, or casually during the weekend. You can style it with a simple white T-shirt and sneakers or sleek blazer and high heels. No matter which way you choose to wear it, you can’t go wrong with investing in one this fall.

Ahead, shop 12 versions we know you’ll love.
