Katie Sturino is encouraging fans to love the skin they're in.

On Monday, the 38-year-old Megababe founder took to Instagram to share an empowering message about body confidence and self-love with her 786,000 followers.

Sturino is one of the countless body acceptance advocates using social media to speak out about the importance of self-worth and size inclusivity, and this video is no exception.

In the clip, the "Body Talk" author stood on a dock overlooking a lake. She rocked a lilac bikini with white trim and smiled at the camera while the words: "How are you loving yourself this summer? Are you s— talking yourself in the mirror? Hiding at the beach? Not even going to the pool? Wearing jeans in July? This summer is yours so start today and wear the bikini!" appeared on the screen.

In the caption, Sturino challenged her followers to step out of their comfort zone to help them love and accept their authentic selves.

"Mid Summer Check In! I got a lot of DMs from y’all this weekend saying you are struggling so I’m going to challenge you to do one thing that you haven’t done yet this summer to help you feel more comfortable in your skin!" she wrote.

"Examples: Go to the store in a tank top and watch as no one looks at your bare arms! Stand up in your swimsuit in a public pool/beach without covering up for ten minutes! Buy a bikini (probably on sale now!) and surprise yourself with how good you look! Compliment a friend who puts themselves down, spreading light!" Sturino suggested.

"You are amazing and helping so many people get out of their own heads. Thank you," commented a follower.

"You're awesome! Thank you. I went for a swim in a mountain lake yesterday and climbed rocks with me kids. They won't remember the cellulite but they'll remember the fun we had together!" shared someone else.

"Confident vibes! Love this! Because of you I've been wearing shorts all summer and I never used to do this! Thank you for being such an inspiration and guiding light!" wrote another.
