Across the street from Hyde Park, the largest of the U.K.’s five Royal Parks, the three-bedroom, three-bath pad in the heart of Connaught Village is on the market for £12.5 million (or roughly $15.8 million). The lateral flat is nestled on the first floor of Hyde Park Gardens, a stucco-fronted development dating back to the early 19th century. According to listing agent Becky Fatemi of Sotheby’s International Realty, the place “boasts incredible views, light, and ceiling heights throughout.” Most notably, the contemporary-looking residence combines original architectural elements like classical proportions, soaring 13-foot-plus ceilings, and plenty of bay windows.
Spanning the length of three buildings, the home sports several communal spaces, including a generously sized reception area that doubles as a formal dining room. There’s also a TV lounge, a modern chef’s kitchen with gleaming white cabinets, and a cozy breakfast room. When it comes to the sleeping quarters, each bedroom is ensuite. However, most of the grand mansions within the development have since been converted into apartments.
