The holiday schedule is still full across South MS. Here’s what’s going on this week

South Mississippi has another busy weekend leading up to Christmas, celebrated with colorful parades on land and water, a Biloxi Shuckers Christmas, breakfasts with Santa and sightings of the Grinch.

Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival continues to shine at Jones Park in Gulfport and TrainTastic in Gulfport has lights and trains to delight generations.

Here are many more events to brighten the holidays on the Coast:

Through Dec. 31 — Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival with 1.5 million lights, animated displays, Ferris wheel, holiday train. Visit Santa’s Village to see working elves, take photos with Santa, and sip hot cocoa.

Through Dec. 31 — Magical Mississippi Christmas at Mississippi Aquarium, across U.S. 90 from Harbor Lights. Opens at 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 5-28 — Holiday Lights at TrainTastic, 615 Pass Road, Gulfport. Thursday-Saturday, 5:30-8 p.m. 2 million lights, Train rides, crafts, Santa, holiday treats. $25 person

Dec. 12-28 — Elf the Musical Broadway show comes to Beau Rivage Theatre. Tickets start at $25, or $60 for a package of four.

Dec. 19 — Christmas Caroling at Cathedral Square, 6 p.m. at Nativity of BVM Church, 870 Howard Ave., Biloxi.

Dec. 19-20 — The Abominable Snowman will join Santa at Edgewater Mall in Biloxi. Noon-5 p.m.

Dec. 20 — Ice Skating Disney Night at Coast Coliseum, Biloxi. 7-8:30 p.m. Admission is $13. Tickets go on sale at 6 p.m.

Dec. 20-21 — Holiday Concert Series presented free by Magnolia Sound professional chamber ensemble. Dec 20 at 6 p.m. at Church of the Redeemer, 1904 Popp’s Ferry Road, Biloxi. Dec. 21 at 4 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Ocean Springs, 921 Ocean Ave. Christmas carol sing-along ends the performances.

Dec. 21 — Breakfast with Santa at TrainTastic, 615 Pass Road, Gulfport. 9-10 a.m. $25 person

Dec. 22 — Holiday Christmas Concert, 4 p.m. at Nativity of BVM Church, 870 Howard Ave., Biloxi.

Dec. 23 — Sounds of Christmas with Chapel Hart at Sound Amphitheater, Gautier at 7 p.m. The trio comes home to South Mississippi to perform holiday songs from their new album plus their hits. Tickets $20

Dec. 24 — Christmas Eve Ice Skating at Coast Coliseum, Biloxi. 4:30-6 p.m. $13. Tickets go on sale at 3:30 p.m.
