But you won't find it in the snack aisle.

We don’t know about you, but where we live, there’s not even the slightest chill in the air. However, Little Debbie is already signaling the turn of the season with its latest Walmart release.

Sure, we might have a few months until football, pumpkin carving, and Crockpot cooking, but Little Debbie is giving us a way to indulge in the fall flavors we’ve been missing as we still try to beat the late summer heat: with ice cream.

Little Debbie’s Pumpkin Delights Ice Cream Returns to Walmart

According to an Instagram post, Little Debbie’s Pumpkin Delights ice cream is already back for the season, bringing the cozy, comforting flavor of pumpkin spice to your summer freezer. Last year, the autumn treat wasn’t officially released until Sept. 4, but this year, it was spotted before July even came to a close.

The pumpkin pint is inspired by Little Debbie’s Pumpkin Delights cookies, which fans on Reddit have called their “favorite seasonal food.” “Make me think of my childhood,” one user shared.

Reviewers have noted that the snack-inspired ice cream is more "light and fluffy" than "rich and creamy," but has a delicious spice flavor and crave-worthy cookie pieces mixed throughout.

The collaboration between Hudsonville Ice Cream and Little Debbie began in early 2022 and has brought us a variety of fun frozen desserts from Oatmeal Creme Pies ice cream to Swiss Rolls ice cream to Cosmic Brownies ice cream. The seasonal Pumpkin Delights pint, however, has gained a bit of a fan-following for its nostalgic flavor and uniquely fall spirit.

“I’ve had every pint they made … but this one is my favorite,” one user shared. “It really tastes like the Pumpkin Delight cookies to me.”

In past years, the pints have been exclusively sold at Walmart, but it's possible the brand will expand to other retailers this season—maybe 7-Eleven, Speedway, or another convenience store where Hudsonville sells its frozen treats. Also, it seems the ice cream is only available in stores so far as it’s not yet listed as "in stock" on Hudsonville Ice Cream's or Walmart's site.

Regardless, fans are already excited to shop the frozen treat, saying, “Definitely not missing out this year, those pumpkin delights are soooo bomb.”

While we might not be totally ready for fall baking and chili cook-offs, this is a taste of fall we’re excited to enjoy.
