Little Girl Hugs Pretzel Cart Vendor Outside Her N.Y.C. School After Returning from Vacation: ‘She Literally Ran Into His Arms’
“He parks his cart outside of my daughter’s school and she loves giving him high fives when she walks by,” a N.Y.C. mom shared on TikTok
A week’s wait was far too long for one little girl who wanted to see her friend — a worker at a New York City pretzel stand.
TikTok user basicallysoho shared a video on Thursday, April 25, capturing her daughter’s excitement upon seeing the man for the first time in a week after having gone on vacation.
In the short clip set to Bakar’s “Hell N Back,” the girl could be seen running happily to the pretzel vendor, who had his arms wide open for her. He then leaned down and gave her a big hug as she hugged him back.
“My daughter running to hug the pretzel cart man outside her school after being on vacation and missing him for a week,” the mom wrote over the clip.
In the caption of the video, she explained that he was the “sweetest pretzel man.”
“He parks his cart outside of my daughter’s school and she loves giving him high fives when she walks by,” she explained.
“[My daughter] was on vacation for a week and missed him,” the mom continued. “When I picked her up from school today, she literally ran into his arms.” She tagged the video with the hastags “#nyc #nyckids #nyc moment #nycmom.”
