Aldi Just Launched A New Wine CollectionAllison Arnold

Trader Joe's might have some competition, because Aldi just released its new Specially Selected Wine Collection—and it's super affordable. Oh, and did we mention they pair perfectly with Aldi's new cheeses? Get your charcuterie boards ready because you can head to Aldi and find these new products starting today.

The collection includes 10 wines under the "Specialty Selected" label, most coming in around $10. The wines were selected from several regions and range from a crisp Côtes de Provence Rosé to a Spanish Rioja Reserva and even an ice wine from Canada. Five of the wines will be available year-round, while the others will be seasonal.

“Whether it's the perfect expression of what Napa Valley has to offer, or an ancestral vineyard nestled in the south of France, the Specially Selected Wine Collection gives consumers a premium tasting experience without the added costs,” said Aldi's Director of National Buying, Arlin Zajmi.

You can't have wine without cheese, so you don't want to forget about the seven Specially Selected premium cheeses, which are each under $5.

Aldi sent us a shipment of each of the wines and cheeses to put to the test. The Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Alto Adige Pinot Grigio were the top two favorites of the team. Delish's Assistant Digital Food Producer Taylor Worden said that the Sauvignon Blanc and Mobay cheese "slaps." "Easily my favorite," she added.

While the team noted that the Uco Valley Malbec and blue cheese were a little "funky," they did enjoy the rose-shaped cheese.
