Louis Vuitton Is Officially Launching Makeup, Here's Everything We Know
It's a good freaking day for luxury beauty lovers. Louis Vuitton announced that they're officially venturing into the makeup category with the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton. And even better? Dame Pat McGrath is at the helm as the creative director. It quite literally doesn't get better than this. Keep scrolling for all the details.
Louis Vuitton has been creating fragrances for nearly 100 years, so the entry into makeup world (along with all the luxury names already making major waves in the space) just makes sense. The first iteration of the line is hitting the shelves come fall 2025. It will include 55 lipsticks, ten lip balms, and eight eye palettes, according to WWD.
Pat McGrath has been aligned with the brand for years and is obviously a pro when it comes to building a beauty empire. "Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, which is the result of extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation," she says. "The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.”
