Lourdes Leon just went totally naked with only handbags as clothes

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll no doubt know the naked dress trend has been the look du jour for all our favourite celebs this season. (If you did miss the memo, don't worry, we'll fill ya in).

Both on and off the red carpet, we've seen the trend manifest in the form of see-through dresses worn by the likes of Kylie Minogue and Megan Fox, mesh and crochet fabrics as favoured by Winnie Harlow and Dua Lipa, lace designs à la Kourtney Kardashian, and revealing cut-outs as modelled by Megan Fox (again). The main MO of the look is basically anything that shows a little bit of skin or gives the illusion of nudity, without the wearer actually being naked.

Although Lourdes Leon may have just changed the rules as she posed completely nude using handbags as clothes in her latest Instagram post.

Lourdes can be seen in the first pic wearing only a pair of thigh-high leather open-toe boots with chain detailing. To protect her modesty, she has fashioned two small black leather handbags into a bikini top, using the chain handles as the straps. A large handbag is suspended above Lourdes, with the model holding onto the chain straps as the bag hangs across her hips.

While the second image in the carousel is a close-up of Lourdes' face, the third image shows Madonna's daughter sat at a desk completely naked – save for a thin belly chain. Talk about taking the naked trend to the next level.

The photos are part of a fashion campaign for the Dion Lee Chain Bag, with the designer sharing additional shots from the photoshoot. In the behind-the-scenes images, Lourdes can be seen wearing the same leather over-the-knee boots but this time in a nude colourway. She's paired the boots with a coordinating nude leather mini dress, before changing into a draped white mini with a train and accessorised with chains draped over her shoulders.

Lourdes is no stranger to a daring look having previously worn an entirely slashed front black dress, a cat-suit that was more cut-outs than fabric, and a backwards lace-up corset. But we think this might just be her most daring ensemble (or lack thereof) yet.
