'Love On The Spectrum' Season 2: What To KnowNetflix

The Love on the Spectrum US docuseries is coming back for a second season this January, so buckle up folks, because it's about to be a sweet, beautiful ride.

This beloved Netflix dating show launched in 2019, starring Australian singles on the autism spectrum who were entering the world of dating and relationships (while everyone watched and cheered them on from home). The series was so successful that the streamer launched a US-version and... the rest is history.

The show has been praised for its blunt look at love, dating with a disability, and autism, but most importantly, it celebrates the magic that can happen when two people find *that* perfect, complementary person.

Indeed, the Love on the Spectrum US season 2 trailer starts out with big facts from one of the participants. “Love is a dagger,” he says, “a pretty thing that also hurts.” And despite it all, these cast members persist, finding their own beautiful, unique love stories throughout the new episodes.

When does Love on the Spectrum season 2 premiere?

The second season of the show's US version will premiere on January 19. And all seven episodes will be released at once, which makes for a perfect, cozy, winter weekend activity.

Where can I watch it?

This is a Netflix original series, so it is available only on the streamer. Subscriptions start at $6.99 per month. And trust me, you don't want to miss out on this one.

Who is in the cast for season 2?

Luckily, some fan favorites will be returning to your screen this season, along with some new singles that you'll meet as they look for lasting love. Some of the favorites from season 1 include Dani, Abbey, Steve, and James, who are all returning, per Netflix.

And now, new singles named Journey, Connor, and Tanner are joining in, too.

Is there a trailer?

Yes! The trailer is available on YouTube. Be prepared to smile...it’s a sweet one.

What happens this season?

While there aren't any major spoilers yet, fans should get ready to see this group of endearing folks get out there and start dating. Season 1 viewers will be happy to know that Abbey is back on the screen with her boyfriend, David.

And even though its not totally clear what happens with them during season 2, it seems like things have been going well because Abbey revealed in a pre-show check-in with Netflix that she loves his sense of humor and the pair has gone whale watching. She also hopes to go to Africa with him because they both love lions!

Season 1 stars James and Dani also shared that they are both still looking for love, and by the looks of the trailer, some romance might be brewing.

You can watch all seven episodes on Netflix beginning Jan. 19. And stay tuned for more updates!
