Luisa Beccaria Fall 2025: Romantic Ladies Who Lunch
Romanticism may have been an underexplored theme in fashion as of late, yet it has always sparked Luisa Beccaria’s creativity.
It’s engrained in her bourgeois lifestyle, and channeled consistently in her concoctions, rooted in pre-Raphaelite gracefulness.

That’s just her comfort zone.
Her fall show hit all the signature codes: The delicate floral patterns, the A-line smock dresses, the midi chemisiers and the subtle botanical embroideries on tulle-layered ballgowns.
Perhaps with help from her eldest daughter Lucilla Buonaccorsi — her right-hand woman for a longtime — she ventured into edgier, and more contemporary territory, with miniskirt suits featuring egg-shaped pea jackets, corduroy safari pantsuits and faille polka dot opera coats in a handsome chocolate shade layered over a same-pattern pajama set.
They were among the most convincing looks, peppering a lineup otherwise too anchored in coy romanticism to look current.
The 50 or so looks were paraded inside the tony Casa Cipriani, the member’s club where many of Beccaria’s Ladies Who Lunch clients are regulars.
Someone in the audience paired one of Beccaria’s delicate frocks ruffled at the hem with a biker jacket and combat boots, offering a new perspective on how all the runway prettiness may actually translate into a real-life wardrobe.
