Lululemon shuts down all stores, continues to pay employees: What to buy online

With people being encouraged to stay home, avoid large groups and wash hands frequently, many companies are closing their bricks-and-mortar stores to reduce the spread of coronavirus.
In an effort to keep the general public safe, Lululemon has followed suit, closing their physical shops to reduce customers’ potential exposure to the virus.
“During this extraordinary time there is nothing more important than giving our community the space to be with their friends, family and loved ones. In light of the rapidly changing status of COVID-19, Lululemon has made the decision to close all stores in North America beginning March 16 through March 27,” reads the statement made by the retailer.
One concern surrounding the closures of stores is staff who work the floor in shops may lose pay. Lululemon addressed this in their statement, reassuring the public that staff will continue to get paid.
“Lululemon employees will continue to receive pay for all hours they have been scheduled to work and have access to Lululemon’s Global Pay Relief Plan.”
