Macaulay Culkin Reunited With His 'Home Alone' Mom Catherine O'Hara

We're currently making the Kevin McCallister face.

Macaulay Culkin has been a star since the young age of 10, when he played Kevin McCallister in the beloved Christmas movie Home Alone. Well, now the actor has gone from star on top of the tree to one on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On Friday, Culkin was given a place on the storied sidewalk just in time for the holidays.

At the ceremony, he was reunited with Catherine O'Hara, who starred alongside Culkin in the 1990 film as his mother Kate McCallister. O'Hara even gave an emotional speech to a tearful Culkin, who stood next to her at the podium.

"Home Alone was, is and always will be a beloved global sensation ... the reason families all over the world can't let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin." she said to the audience before adding that Culkin truly gave a "perfect performance." "I know you worked really hard, I know you did, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do."

O'Hara, who also starred alongside Culkin in 1992's Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, went on to commend him for his "sweet and twisted, yet totally relatable" sense of humor that he has had that he had even as a young boy. "It's a sign of intelligence in a child and a key to survival at any age."

"Macaulay, congratulations. You so deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And thank you for including me, your fake mom who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion," she joked. "I'm so proud of you."

After concluding her speech, Culkin wiped his tears before embracing O'Hara. Culkin's Party Monster co-star Natasha Lyonne also spoke during the event. Culkin thanked both of the women for their support in his own speech. "Thanks for all your kind words and your stories and stuff," he said. "You know, you made my kids' dad, their papa, look good. And the most important thing to me is also that their papa understands that he wasn't always his papa; he used to be a kid too, you know?"

Culkin was accompanied by his fiancée, Brenda Song, and their two kids, a boy, whom they welcomed earlier this year, and their 2-year-old son Dakota. Culkin and Song posed together on the star while The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star held their older son.
