Maddie Ziegler and Millie Bobby Brown Talk First Kisses and Halloween Costumes in Interview Magazine

Millie Bobby Brown is well on her way to It girl status. The 12-year-old star of Stranger Things was just revealed as the cover star of Interview's November issue, marking the actress' second magazine cover this year. (She was previously fronted So It Goes mag in October.)

But perhaps the bigger surprise is that Brown ditched her tween charm for a rocker look-with leather pieces by Louis Vuitton and Coach, studded Gucci, platform boots and goth-chic Marc Jacobs dresses-for her feature spread. Also fellow teen star, dancer Maddie Ziegler, conducted the interview. The resulting story includes sweet moments like this one:

Their conversation covered growing up, achieving fame at a young age and their favorite pieces of career advice. Brown even expressed how she felt about her character Eleven becoming a favored Halloween costume this season.

"It's very rewarding in a way, and as strange as Stranger Things," she said. "People are embracing her character and trying to portray her. I think it's nice to see what different people think of her character. I'm cool with people dressing up as Eleven for Halloween. I definitely want to open my door and give them candy."

She even mentioned that her onscreen kiss with costar Finn Wolfhard (Mike in the show) was her first. "It was definitely strange. It was, like, my first kiss, so it was kind of weird. But then, like, when I'd done it, I thought, 'Wow. It makes sense for the storyline,'" she said.

And in a classic best friend move, Ziegler recalled how Brown reacted after filming the scene: "You were like, 'Kissing sucks.'"
