While much has been said of her father, Thomas Markle Sr. and her half-siblings, Ragland remains an elusive figure, content to support her daughter from the sidelines.

Recently, Ragland flew from her home in California to support the launch of Markle’s first solo project, “Together: A Community Cookbook.”

Alongside her son-in-law, Prince Harry, Ragland was overheard introducing herself as “Meg’s mom” to guests and praising the women who helped contribute to the book.

From her days as a Hollywood makeup assistant, to raising her little “Flower” on her own, we’re learning more about the woman behind one of the senior members of the British royal family.
