Man gets down on one knee to propose to partner at Wimbledon’s Centre Court
In a different kind of match to what usually goes on at Wimbledon, a man was captured getting down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend of 15 years.
Centre Court was the backdrop for Gabriele Pamboni to propose to partner Annalisa Leoni on Friday (5 July).
A photographer sprang into action to capture the moment.
At one point, Gabriele reaches out his hand to get Annalisa’s attention, and the couple laugh before sealing the deal with a kiss.
Footage also shows a woman with the couple executing a back-hand pass to get the ring to Gabriele without Annalisa knowing.
