Mariska Hargitay has for nearly 10 years known the rare honor of being the muse after which one of Taylor Swift's three cats is named. Now it seems the actor finally found a way to return the favor: Naming her newly adopted kitten, Karma, after the Midnights track of the same name.

The actor made the announced via Instagram on Thursday and playfully tagged Swift in the post.

“Karma is a Cat @taylorswift Meet Karma. My Cat.🐱 #MeAndKarmaVibeLikeThat #AndIKeepMySideOfMyPawClean #KarmaIsACat,” the star captioned the post.

You may recall that in 2014—three years after adopting her first cat, Meredith Grey—Swift brought home a second Scottish fold named Olivia Benson. The name is of course an homage to the character Hargitay has played on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for a whopping 24 seasons.

Acting as one of the longest-running characters in television history is a major slay, but one could argue the even bigger flex is being able to say one of the world's most famous felines is your character's namesake. This cat has already achieved more in her career than most of us ever will, having starred in a Marvel movie, multiple major advertising campaigns, and of course, one of Swift's music videos. The pop star also brought Olivia to the 2019 Billboard Music Awards.

Mariska Hargitay and Swift originally met when Swift gave Hargitay and her husband a ride home from an Ingrid Michaelson concert in 2014. In 2015, the SVU mainstay made a cameo of her own in the award-winning music video for Swift's Reputation-era single “Bad Blood.” And their friendship is evidently still going strong today. Hargitay was recently spotted at the Los Angeles stop of the Eras Tour as well as the premiere of the Eras Tour concert film with her daughter in tow.
