Martha Stewart favors this glam, holiday-friendly trend — copy her look for $40

It's effortless and comfy, yet edgy and cool — no wonder it's one of the icon's go-to looks! Such a good thing.

Martha Stewart loves a little glitz and glam! The lifestyle guru often wears metallics, from her gold sneakers at the 2024 Olympics to a gold gown and silver swimsuit in Sports Illustrated. Her capsule collection with Skechers even features a few shimmery styles. So it's no surprise that while attending the NYC premiere of her upcoming Netflix documentary, Martha, she donned a pair of silver pants on the red carpet.

Quick Overview

Stewart stylishly paired the shiny pants with her go-to Robert Clergerie metallic platform sandals, a lavender knit bomber jacket-style sweater and a silver Rimowa crossbody handbag. This isn't the first time she's worn the pants either. Stewart wore the same pair to the documentary's premiere at the Telluride Film Festival in September.

Silver or gold metallic pants (Martha also wore a shiny gold pair in September!) are an effortless, low-maintenance way to dress up while keeping comfy. Case in point, you can put on a sweater or a T-shirt and swap your regular pair of jeans for a pair of metallic pants, and voila! You're all dolled up.

Metallic pants are also so stylish for the upcoming holiday season. From Thanksgiving feasts to holiday parties and New Year's Eve cocktails, you can wear a pair to give any look an extra festive feel.

If you prefer a slimmer cut, Old Navy also sells a silver version of its Slim Jeans.

If you want to try the trend but want something a little darker and a little more subdued, Gap's metallic straight jeans are a good choice. The pants feature a moodier pewter wash, but there's still plenty of shine. These ones come in three different fits (regular, petite and tall) and three inseams (short, regular and tall).

Skip the jeans and try this faux leather pair of silver pants! They have a unique ankle boot cut leg that pairs will with heels, sneakers and, of course, boots. The faux leather is soft on the inside, stretchy all over and shiny on the outside.

This relaxed style comes in silver and features a more textured jean look than some of the others on this list. And don't worry, there are short, regular and tall lengths available.
