Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Complement One Another with Dark Layers in N.Y.C.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made a rare public appearance on Wednesday when they stepped out for an N.Y.C. walk through SoHo.
The 30-year-old twins were swathed in their typical black-on-black uniforms for the weekday outing, shielding themselves from the public with their respective sets of aviator sunglasses.
Mary-Kate donned a simple mid-calf-length dress for the occasion, which she paired with a floor-length peacoat, two chunky golden chains, a large black snakeskin tote bag, and closed-toe lace-up pumps.
The newly married star left her blonde locks in a natural array across her shoulders, while Ashley cut a more formal look, sweeping hers into a sophisticated bun atop her head.
Ashley complemented her elegant 'do with a bold diamond necklace, a cape-like open-arm poncho, a matching set of pants, and a pair of metallic silver sandals.

Though recognizable when together, the Olsen twins are usually pretty adept at going incognito--we'd like to think they picked up a thing or two from their days of on-screen sleuthing.
