McDonald’s Just Launched a New McFlurry Flavor—and It’s Already Going Viral

But the best gift of all? The brand-new McFlurry that’s bringing even more magic to the menu. This festive, limited-time flavor is a first for the brand, and fans are already lining up to try it.

McDonald’s is bringing even more holiday fun to the fast food scene, introducing a brand-new McFlurry flavor inspired by everyone’s favorite Christmas-stealing character: the Grinch. For a limited time, a Frozen Hot Chocolate McFlurry will be available on the fast food menu.

The new McFlurry features McDonald’s classic vanilla soft serve base mixed with rich hot cocoa powder for an authentic, homestyle hot cocoa flavor. To top it off, mini marshmallows are stirred in, offering the perfect chewy bite and just a dash of nostalgia. It’s like enjoying a warm cup of cocoa, but in a frosty, familiar McFlurry form. Plus, it's served in a cute Grinch-themed cup cute enough to make our hearts grow three sizes.

But, that’s not the only way the Grinch is creeping onto the menu this Christmas season. McDonald's also has two new special-edition Grinch meals on the menu, one for kids and one for adults. Adults, however, get an even better taste of the Grinch-themed goodness with a meal of a Big Mac, McChicken, or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, plus fries in a brand-new flavor: Dill Pickle. But that's not all—the adult meals come with something extra special: a pair of holiday socks. Yep, you read that right—the meal includes festive socks featuring the grinning Grinch himself, or his trusty dog Max. It's the perfect combo of holiday spirit and comfort food, and it’s guaranteed to keep you cozy through the season.

Unfortunately, there's a Grinchy twist to the story: All of these fun holiday-themed items, including the new McFlurry, are only available in Canada. So, if you want to try the Frozen Hot Chocolate McFlurry or snag those Grinch socks, you’ll need to head up north. Stink. Stank. Stunk.

It doesn’t look like the Grinch-themed items will be arriving in the U.S. this holiday season, but at least we have Krispy Kreme’s new Merry Grinchmas collection as a consolation. And maybe if we all put it on our wishlists, McDonald's will gift us this treat next year before we turn too green with envy. One fan on Instagram even joked, “I’m strongly considering a road trip to Windsor, Canada for this.”
