This 10 episode series sees the ultimate 'meet cute' between Kristen Bell, who plays Joanne, an agnostic sex podcaster and Adam Brody, who stars as Noah, a charming and handsome rabbi. The pair come together and form an unlikely relationship, which is of course not without its complications.

Kristen Bell (Joanne) In 'Nobody Wants This'
Kristen Bell plays one of the show's main characters, Joanne, a successful and popular sex and dating podcast host (her co-host is her sister, Morgan), which is on the precipice of being acquired by Spotify.
Her character is agnostic, strong willed, opinionated, and at times can be quite pessimistic. She typically discusses her dating life on the show, which makes for great content for the podcast (think Call Her Daddy vibes) – that is until she meets Noah.
Bell's breakout role came from the teen series Veronica Mars, which she went on to win several awards for.
She also voiced the titular character in Gossip Girl and played the lead role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Since then, she has features in House Of Lies, The Good Place and voiced Anna in the Frozen franchise.
Adam Brody (Noah Roklov) In 'Nobody Wants This'
Starring alongside Kristen Bell as one of the show's two leads, Adam Brody plays Noah Roklov, an extremely handsome rabbi. Noah wants nothing more than to become head rabbi at his local temple and find his soulmate. In contrast to the rabbis surrounding him, he is rather modern in his beliefs and practices.
His romance with Joanne is kickstarted when he breaks up with his long-term Jewish girlfriend, Rebecca.
While Brody stars as Netflix's latest heartthrob, the film and TV industry has long been infatuated with the 44-year-old actor.
Brody bagged his breakout role in The O.C. as Seth Cohen in 2003. Since then, he's starred in the likes of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jennifer's Body and Fleishman Is In Trouble.
Justine Lupe (Jamie) In 'Nobody Wants This'
Justine Lupe stars as Morgan, Joanne's younger sister and the co-host of their sex and dating podcast. Despite the sisters often bickering over their different perspectives on certain topics, they ultimately always manage to come to a resolution.
Lupe is best known for her role as Willa Ferreyra in HBO's Succession, as well as the series' Cristela, Mr. Mercedes and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. In 2022, she starred in the Luckiest Girl Alive alongside Mila Kunis.
Stephanie Faracy (Lynn) In 'Nobody Wants This
Stephanie Faracy plays Joanne and Morgan's mother, Lynn, who is a health conscious and recently divorcée.
The American actor is best known for her supporting roles in Heaven Can Wait (1978) but got her first break in 1976 through her role in Laverne & Shirley.
With a career spanning decades in the industry, Faracy has featured in films such as Surviving Christmas, Get Him To The Greek and Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates.
As for TV, there's a good chance that you recognise her from her roles in Will & Grace, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family and How To Get Away With Murder.
Tovah Feldshuh (Bina Roklov) In 'Nobody Wants This'
Deep down, Noah's mother Bina Roklov wants the best for her son and however well intentioned she may be, she does not always come across so supportive.
In the industry, Feldshuh is quite the legend. With over 50 years of experience working on Broadway, earning four Tony nominations and two Emmy nominations, the 75-year-old actor is a seasoned professional.
Some of her most prominent roles include: The Walking Dead, Law & Order, and A Walk On The Moon.
