Meet a little old guy with lots of spring in his steps, along with a younger doggy
Chico
Breed: Chihuahua
Age: 16, but still spry
For those in the market for a little old man, meet Chico. He’s a sweet boy who, despite his age, still loves a good game of chase.
This little guy loves to bunny hop around the table when his people are eating, which is just the cutest. He gets along well with all of his foster fur siblings. If his home has children in the mix, they would ideally be a bit older or able to respect the fact that Chico values a good, long nap. This dude isn’t super clingy, but he does enjoy attention and some relaxing pets from his people. Chico’s adoption fee is half off through the end of August as part of our Longtimer Adoption Promotion.
Bobbie
Breed: Mixed
Age: 1 year, 10 months
Bobbie is a nearly 2-year-old ball of energy ready to run his way into your heart. He’s 49 pounds of pure fun with an athletic build, squat body and the most beautiful brindle fur. He also has the most expressive ears you’ll ever see.
He has a reputation for being quite a goofball, often getting wild zoomies in Wayside’s play yards and splashing around in the pool. He’s great at self-entertaining with stuffies so you can sit back, relax, and watch him play.
Speaking of stuffies, toys are everything to him. Remember that. Once he’s tuckered out, he loves to roll in the grass and collapse with a big smile on his face. He’s in a training program at Wayside to learn confidence in new situations, and also to work on impulse control.
He enjoys playing with dogs, but he’s a high-energy player so will do best with a dog who can match his play-style. Stop by and meet him at Wayside Waifs today.
Charlie
Breed: Domestic longhair
Age: 3 years, 6 months
You can’t help but admire this handsome guy’s glorious long whiskers. He’s very friendly and enjoys activities that keep him mentally stimulated. He loves binge-watching videos. If you do as well, perhaps you can gaze at the screen together. He also loves playing with toys.
This kitty is equal parts independent and people oriented. He’s also declawed, but that doesn’t stop his biscuit making.
Stop by today and meet Charlie at Wayside soon. You can even take him home on a slumber “pawty” to make sure your home is a good fit.
