Megan Fox Did the Perfect Britney Spears Impression

It turns out that I do in fact have something in common with Megan Fox (and it is not an appreciation for six-inch stilettos). Fox and I share a fear of flying — but as a working actress, she is of course forced to face it more often than I am. Her remedy? Classic Britney Spears.

Back when she was bicoastal, living in L.A. and working in N.Y.C., Fox said she'd have to fly every four days. "I was like, 'I'm kind of pushing the statistics now because I'm flying so often,'" she told Kelly Clarkson when she appeared on the singer's talk show. "And that's where the fear came from because it's like, yeah if you fly twice a year you're good, but not if you're flying like twice a week."

When faced with turbulence, Fox would cope by playing music that she knew she "wasn't gonna die to" — aka Britney.

Yes, it is the law of the universe that one cannot perish whilst blasting "Lucky" ...

Fox then shared her best impression of the pop icon, breaking into the chorus of "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman."

"That's not the soundtrack to my death," Fox deadpanned. Then oops, she did it again (sorry), and dropped a perfectly nasal "Oh baby, baby" into the conversation.

"You're not gonna meet God on a like, 'Oh baby, baby,' and then you're dead and you know all the mysteries of the universe in that moment," she explained. Yes, it's science.

Other Fox-approved in-flight playlists include anything by the Backstreet Boys or "It's Raining Men" — "Ain't nobody dying to that song, ever," she jokingly assured viewers.

Fox also provided an artist she'd recommend removing from the rotation.

"You could put on something like Kansas and then 'Dust in the Wind' gets in the shuffle and then you might go down with that song. So that should actually be not allowed on airplanes at all."

Words to live (and hopefully not die?) by.
