Megan Fox wears winter's new fave colour in subtly see-through nipple-revealing top
Rewind a few years ago and it felt like all our favourite celebs were launching beauty brands, from Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez to Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Then, the hottest second business to have was an alcohol range, with Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, Eva Longoria and Kate Hudson all launching their own drink labels.
Now? It's earning the title of "and author" – inserting actress, model, singer or whatever's most appropriate immediately before. Yep, with both Julia Fox and Britney Spears recently releasing memoirs, it's seemingly sparked a trend of putting pen to paper.
And Megan Fox is the latest star to do just that. But rather than a memoir, she's released a book of poetry titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. While we wait for our copy to arrive, we need to talk about the outfit she wore to attend an event in New York City last night celebrating the launch of her debut title.
Still rocking her new bright red bob haircut, Megan opted for a chic and understated look worthy of a best-selling poet. She paired a brown tank top with an A-line leather midi skirt in the same hue, adding black patent stiletto heeled boots to complete the look.
This is *still* Megan Fox we're talking about though, so she of course added a sexy twist by going braless beneath the subtly see-through top. Having become known for her daring, trend-led fashion style after spending the past few months donning tiny bikinis, corsets and thigh-high boots, we're glad to see she's still staying true to herself in her new venture.
And, as well as nodding to naked dressing, this latest 'fit also taps into this season's biggest colour trend. Despite red dominating headlines as 'the new Barbie pink', brown has emerged as our favourite hue for winter. Spotted on the AW23 runways at 16Arlington, Brandon Maxwell, Saint Laurent and Fendi to name just a few, it's the surprising neutral, spanning shades of chocolate and espresso, that's got us in a chokehold.
