While it's technically not a part of awards season — which isn't until the beginning of 2024 now that the Emmys have been pushed — the 2023 MTV VMAs are making sure that celebrities still have a chance to show everyone that they've still got what it takes to show up and show out on a red carpet. Case in point: Megan Thee Stallion, who arrived at the show in a completely sheer dress with super-sexy, stealthy seam detailing that was a bit boudoir and 100% bad bitch.

Meg (real name: Megan Jovon Ruth Pete) is nominated for three awards tonight and late last week, MTV announced that she would be performing her latest single, "Bongos," alongside Cardi B at the big show. She arrived on the pink carpet serving body, becuase of course, with her sheer gown showing a pair of panties underneath and the top lined to cover up everything that needed to be covered. Meg finished the look with slicked-back hair, a set of razor-sharp nails, and a sparkling diamond choker that coordinated with a blingy bracelet and rings. She had a super-sharp cat eye, too, to go along with the angular theme of the night.

Megan is no stranger to the VMAs spotlight. In 2019, she took home the Moon Person trophy for Best Power Anthem with her song "Hot Girl Summer." In 2020, she followed up that win with the trophy for Best Hip-Hop Video for her track "Savage." Both have become staples in pop culture. Tonight, her song "HER" is up for Best Direction, Best Art Direction, and Best Choreography. Of course, she's been nominated for plenty of other awards, too, for her songs "Sweetest Pie" and "WAP," and was up for Artist of the Year in 2021.
