Meghan Markle Continues Her Quiet Luxury Style Streak in Giuliva Heritage Set at SXSW 2024
Meghan Markle spoke onstage at the “Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen” panel during the 2024 SXSW Conference and Festival at the Austin Convention Center on Friday, wearing a silk set from Giuliva Heritage.
Markle’s look featured the brand’s Husband blouse and the Lena midi skirt, both made from a light beige silk textile and printed with gray pinstripes. Styling her ensemble with chunky gold hoop earrings and small gold rings, the Duchess of Sussex kept her jewelry to a minimum, with the contrasting masculine and feminine silhouettes acting as the focus of her look.

To complete her outfit, Markle accessorized with a pair of white pointed-toe flats from Valentino.
The Duchess of Sussex’s long dark tresses were lightly curled and her makeup look was kept natural with an emphasis on Markle’s signature bronzy cheek and nude lip.
Markle has embraced quiet luxury as her signature style, often wearing minimalist and monochromatic looks at her public appearances. She was seen with a similar cream-based color palate earlier this year while attending the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025’s One Year to Go celebrations on Feb. 14.
Markle is typically styled by Jamie Mizrahi, former creative director for Juicy Couture and founder of the underwear brand The Kit. In addition to working with Markle, Mizrahi has worked with a number of other celebrities, including Jeremy Allen White and Adele.
Delivering the panel’s keynote address alongside Brooke Shields and Katie Couric, Markle addressed issues regarding the representation of women in media, the visual portrayals of motherhood and the intense pressures of social media.
“On a personal level, I’ve just always loved understanding women and our stories, our lived experiences and our shared experiences, so I was really curious to see what the report was going to uncover,” Markle said. “Often times as women, the way that we see ourselves is reflected back to us, sometimes accurately and sometimes, much to our disservice, inaccurately in what we see in media.”
