Meghan Markle is known for her incredible fashion sense and she always knows how to rock her monochromatic outfits and even..."Suits"... (we tried). But Markle is also a big fan of sustainable fashion.

The pregnant Duchess of Sussex was recently spotted with son Archie, wearing a face mask from one of her longtime favourite labels.

While dropping adorable Archie off at school, she wore an olive green face-covering made by Rothy's, a sustainable brand whose flats Markle has worn multiple times, including during her 2018 tour of Australia with Prince Harry.

Her laidback outfit featuring the Rothy’s face mask, made from recycled plastic, also included Cuyana’s $295 USD/$369 CAD Pleat-Back Anorak, a pair of DL1961 Emma Skinny Maternity Instasculpt jeans and a pair of cream Valentino Garavani Roman Rockstud Flat Mules.

Fans of Markle are racing to get a 2-pack of Rothy's face masks before they sell out — but that's not the only reason the masks are ultra-popular.

What is it?

Rothy's, a sustainable footwear company, created an eco-friendly and durable mask, which has been dubbed as The Mask. They are made from recycled polyester (rPET) thread, which is also used to make the brand's sustainable flip-flops and handbags.

The masks have comfortable elastic straps that slip over your ears and microfiber swatches located on the inside of the mask. The two-pack of masks come with one solid navy and one solid olive green mask.

These masks are machine washable but air dry only, so don't put your masks in the dryer. Rothy's mask is designed to fit comfortably against the face, covering the nose and mouth.

Rothy's crafted its masks using precision 3D knitting technology, an earth-friendly practice that helps to ensure the perfect cut every time, which helps to reduce the amount of waste on the production floor.
