Meghan Markle Has So Much Honey the Bees Envy Her in Trailer for New Netflix Lifestyle Series

Meghan Markle is trading her “Suits” for an apron in the trailer for new Netflix lifestyle series, “With Love, Meghan.”

In the trailer, released on Thursday by Netflix, Markle prepares some serious dishes, desserts, and drinks. Her guests for the first season include Roy Choi, Mindy Kaling, Alice Waters, and “additional acclaimed chefs and special friends,” per Netflix.

“With Love, Meghan” is produced by the Duchess of Sussex. In the press notes accompanying the trailer, the series is called “inspiring” that “reimagine(s) the genre of lifestyle programming, blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.”

Sometimes that includes beekeeping, per one scene in the trailer. She has a lot of honey.

From her California estate, Markle will offer “personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected,” the notes continue. “She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”

Somewhere, Martha Stewart is saying something dry.

“With Love, Meghan” premieres on Netflix on January 15, 2025; it consists of eight episodes at 33 minutes apiece. In addition to her and her husband’s (Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex) production company Archewell Productions, which is named after their son Archie, “With Love, Meghan” is also executive produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation’s (IPC) Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman, and the series’ showrunner Leah Hariton. Chanel Pysnik also executive produces under the Archewell banner. The series director is Michael Steed.

Markle is, of course, very comfortable in front of a camera. Before becoming literal royalty, Markle starred as Rachel Zane on USA Network’s “Suits.” It was the largest role of her career and also the most recent one (not counting her last Netflix reality series, “Harry and Meghan”).

Following an explosion of viewership via Netflix syndication, “Suits” is being rebooted for NBC and Peacock as “Suits: L.A.” The new series will follow Stephen Amell’s Ted Black, who has switched sides from prosecutor to defense attorney for the rich and famous. Also returning is Gabriel Macht, though just for a three-episode arc. Series creator Aaron Korsch is involved as well — surely he, NBC, and Peacock would love to bring Markle’s Zane back, even if just for a(n incredibly fancy, well-garnished) cup of coffee.
