Meghan Markle is pretty in Prada for hosting duties with the Queen

Hot on the heels of Meghan Markle’s first-ever solo outing with the Queen and debut Trooping the Colour, the Duchess of Sussex has ticked off yet another outing with her grandmother-in-law. Stepping out alongside her dapper new husband, Prince Harry, on Tuesday (June 26), Meghan absolutely glowed in a beautiful blush-pink Prada ensemble, reminiscent of her off-the-shoulder number on the Queen’s birthday just a few weeks before.

The Duchess completed the lovely look with a pair of black Aquazzura heels and a matching ‘Saffiano’ clutch by Prada. Showing off her healthy summer glow, the former actress opted for a bronzed and highlighted look, keeping her brunette tresses naturally wavy at her shoulders. It’s clear that Meghan really knows her favourite colour palette! For her first ever Trooping the Colour appearance on June 9, she wore a similarly pale pink confection with buttons down the front, though the Carolina Herrera look featured an off-the-shoulder neckline.

The Queen’s Young Leaders Awards Ceremony marks the fourth time that the Los Angeles native has officially stepped out with Her Majesty – the first ever being for Commonwealth Day in March. At the ceremony, the Queen presented awards to bright young leaders across 38 Commonwealth countries, who have worked on issues close to the monarch’s heart, like supporting people living with mental health problems, improving access to education, promoting gender equality and bringing awareness to climate change. Guests like David Beckham and Ore Oduba joined over 200 others at Buckingham Palace as the young leaders – including three from Canada – received their coveted awards.

Of course, Queen Elizabeth II was one of the shining beacons of stylish to light up the lavish ceremony. A lover of florals, the 92-year-old donned a pastel flowered number, black heels and white gloves. Taking a cue from the monarch, Meghan was seen sitting in the audience with picture-perfect posture and her legs in the prim and proper Duchess slant (so named for her sister-in-law Kate’s tendency to the pose). The Duchess of Sussex is clearly a fast study on the ways of the Royal Family, who have accepted her with open arms.
