The Instagram post features a candid snapshot of Spencer, Zajfen and the royal laughing together and wearing T-shirts with the phrase “Love Like a Mother” embossed in red on white cotton fabric. Markle also wore high-waisted jeans by Frame and accessorized with a Cartier watch, bracelets, earrings and a tennis bracelet by Ariel Gordon Maffei.
The T-shirt is part of a campaign for the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday. By purchasing the shirt, proceeds will go to “essential services, education and advocacy so that young parents in foster care and their children can heal and thrive,” according to the caption.
Cofounded by Zajfen in 2014, the Alliance of Moms is a community of philanthropists who support pregnant and parenting youth in the Los Angeles foster care system, with the mission to help them build a positive future for themselves and their children. Such philanthropic endeavors have been a cornerstone of the Duchess of Sussex’s post-royal life in Montecito, along with a new business venture.
The former “Suits” actress announced her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard on March 14, and debuted one of its first products on Monday. Friends of the royal, including designer Tracy Robbins, shared photos via social media of the brand’s homemade strawberry jam, part of the American Riviera Orchard gift baskets.
