Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham’s favourite tea is now available in Canada

Meghan Markle is taking to British royal life with ease, especially when it comes to her preferred beverage! The American star enjoys a spot of tea on the regular, and we’ve got the lowdown on the leaves that Meghan has been brewing. According to reports, her favourite brand – which guests could enjoy at her royal wedding to Prince Harry on May 19 – is teapigs, and the UK brand is finally available to Canadians!

So, what’s in her teapot exactly? Since 2006, teapigs has sold a wide variety of interesting flavours to suit any and all taste buds, from a classic matcha green tea to an eclectic chili chai black tea (now priced at $9.99 per package for Canadians). But the former Suits star is partial to their licorice and peppermint blend, a great pick-me-up on a dreary day or a soothing cup of warmth before bed.

Naturally, the 36-year-old – who will say “I do” to Prince Harry in just a few months – likes to drink her tea in style, too. On her now-closed Instagram page, Meghan once shared a stunning photo of her adorable elephant teapot next to a cup full of tea and surrounded by puzzle pieces. This photo was enough to send her fans into a Google-searching frenzy to score an equally elegant vessel! But the item is likely vintage, according to Meghan’s Mirror, who also reported that the star likes to make her own tea blend by mixing the licorice and peppermint with Kusmi’s green detox tea, which is also sold by teapigs.

And if the brand’s royal fame isn’t enough to convince tea lovers to give it a try, trendsetter Victoria Beckham is also a fan of their blends! Given the former Spice Girls’ taste in fashion and home décor, we’re confident her choice of beverage is top-notch, too. The esteemed designer once took to Twitter to profess her love for the leaves.
