Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

On Tuesday, Meghan Markle flew to Germany to attend a friends and family party during the Invictus Games with husband Prince Harry. The Invictus Games, founded by none other than the Duke of Sussex himself, are a multi-sport event held in honor of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.

For her speech at the Station Airport event, Markle kept it simple yet elegantly chic in a Banana Republic black pleated shirt dress. The best part? It's 50% off right now *and* also available in white.

The Duchess of Sussex switched out the original fabric belt for one made of leather, adding a bit more polish and personality to the look. She kept it simple on the accessories front, with small gold hoops and a couple of gold bracelets. She also wore her usual pointed-toe black pumps to round out the ensemble.
