Meghan Markle's 24-hour Irish royal tour wardrobe cost more than $50,000

Meghan Markle and her style team are pulling out all the stops for her first official trip to Ireland as a bona fide royal.

Despite a jam-packed itinerary, Markle has managed more outfit changes in just about 24 hours than Beyoncé in concert. But it came at a cost — and a pretty significant one.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Dublin just hours after attending celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force at Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.

The newlyweds and their eleven-strong entourage, including Markle’s hairstylist, George Northwood, were primed and ready to work their magic on their Irish fans.

The Duchess enlisted Northwood to style her tresses for the evening portion of her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. The London-based owner of The George Norwood Salon caters to celebrity clients like model Rosie Huntington-Whitley and Alexa Chung.

On the clothing front — the dazzling outfits have been courtesy of high-fashion designers and Markle’s go-to stylist and Canadian BFF, Jessica Mulroney.

Mulroney was reportedly in London last week to help her royal pal prepare for her trip to Ireland, which no doubt included tons of fittings and some serious planning for Markle’s many ensembles.

In total, the Duchess’s wardrobe for the tour cost more than $50,000 CAD. Check out our gallery for a lowdown on the running total of all of the Duchess of Sussex’s Ireland looks.
