This necklace is fun, chic, and goes with almost any outfit.
This necklace is fun, chic, and goes with almost any outfit.

I'm always on the hunt for unique yet timeless accessories that I can wear with almost any outfit — and this necklace is just the ticket.

As someone who loves to wear dark colours — especially in the fall and winter — I was pleasantly surprised that this pendant came in black, a colour not often used in the world of jewelry. Depending on how you like to wear your necklaces, you can also adjust the chain so the pendant hits your collarbone or a few inches lower.

The adorable heart-shaped design spiced up my black button-up and leather jacket, and will provide much-needed shine to any ensemble no matter the colour or time of year.

When it comes to jewelry, I like to keep things pretty simple, which is why I love the way this delicate necklace looked when paired with a cream fisherman sweater. The blue sapphires add the tiniest bit of sparkle to this otherwise minimalist pendant and thin gold vermeil chain.

This necklace is the perfect size for everyday wear given that I mainly work from home, but also works well when I've stacked it with other chains for more of an impact. If you have a friend or family member who's a fan of simple and dainty jewelry, this necklace is a winning gift idea this holiday season.

The Heart Enamel Pendant Necklace is cute, wearable and just a tad festive.
The Heart Enamel Pendant Necklace is cute, wearable and just a tad festive.

I first spotted this Mejuri necklace in 14-karat gold on Instagram, but was quickly drawn to the pink version — which, lucky for me, is also quite a bit more affordable. The candy-coloured enamel offers a cute pop of colour when paired with my winter wardrobe of grey, cream and black sweaters, and the green tsavorite gems also make it just the tiniest bit festive.

I tend to be pretty basic when it comes to my jewelry, so I've been mostly wearing this on its own or paired with one tiny gold necklace — but after seeing this styling, I'm tempted to buy another (especially on sale!) and layer up.

Style hack: wear your Heart Enamel Pendant Necklace backwards for a touch of gold.

Quick style hack — if you want to save a buck or two (or $742, to be exact), you can wear your Heart Enamel Pendant Necklace backwards as a dupe for the pricier 14K yellow gold version. Which, coincidentally, is exactly how I wear mine.

Technically, I have the same pink enamel version of the necklace as Hilary; however, while I love the shade, cotton candy pink isn't always the easiest colour to wear, especially if you like layering your jewelry. The solution: wear it backwards. With the same eye-catching sheen as Mejuri's $900 gold and diamond necklace, no one has to know that yours cost a fraction of the price!
