"Stop Making Women So Uncomfortable": Men Are Revealing What They Seriously Want Other Men To Quit Doing, And They're 100% Valid

Recently, Redditor u/marcus_shitface asked men in the Reddit community to share the things they wish other men would stop doing, and the responses were completely valid. Here are some of the things men desperately want other men to quit:

."Putting off your own healthcare. Seriously, just get that check-up."

."Men should stop thinking that they HAVE to be the 'alpha' all the time. You may be very good at some things, but you are not the best at everything! Real men know what they are good at and where they need help."

."Being absent fathers."

."This mostly applies to younger guys, but the whole 'Do you wanna settle this outside?' kind of response to a disagreement. What does violence prove other than that one can beat up the other? Resorting to violence is just so dumb."

."Doing loud vroom-vrooms with your car. The entire neighborhood doesn't need to know the presence of your fragile masculinity."

."If other men could stop with the mass shootings, that'd be great. They can cut out all the other senseless acts of violence and aggression, too, actually."

."Urinating on the toilet seat at work and in public places."

."Ignoring their friends being assholes. As an extreme example, if you are friends with someone who literally espouses racist dogma and says nothing about it to them, I don't care if you're an otherwise 'normal person.' If you are trying to get your racist friend to see the error in their thinking, then fine, but ignoring it is the same as agreeing with them."

."STOP MAKING WOMEN SO GODDAMN UNCOMFORTABLE ON DATING APPS AND RUINING IT FOR US NORMAL MEN."

."Sexualizing literally everything."

."Being hateful toward women they aren't attracted to. It's fine to have personal preferences, but when you see a picture of a woman you're not attracted to on social media, why make comments picking apart features you don't like or calling them names? Just don't say anything and move on. Nobody says you have to be attracted to a woman when she shows just a tiny bit of confidence."

."Being from the middle class but going out of your way to act like you're a thug or in a gang. Men do this a lot in the UK."

."Talk to me about how their last sexual experience was, even when I didn't ask (which I never do)."

."Excusing verbal and mental abuse as humor. 'It's just a joke, bro.'"

."Being ashamed of their mental health."

."Sending unsolicited dick pics to women — and other idiotic behavior toward women."

."Loudly proclaiming that a 'woman's job' is to cater to a man and have children. I wish men would let go of gender roles entirely."

."Spitting in public."

."Saying, 'You're not a man' if you do or don't do a certain thing."

."Talking down on those expressing their 'less manly' emotions."

."Please wash your hands after peeing. It's common decency."

.Lastly: "Misunderstanding and misplacing their own insecurity, mistaking aggression for strength, and raising kids based on their own unresolved trauma (because they won't work on it)."

As a woman, I would also love men to stop doing these things! If you're a man, what things are you begging other men to stop doing? Let me know in the comments, or you can anonymously submit your response using this form!
