Miami’s Iconic Big Orange: ready to light up New Year’s Eve 2024

Every year, downtown Miami transforms into a hub of excitement and celebration, with the Big Orange installation taking center stage. This iconic 35-foot neon orange, affectionately known as “La Gran Naranja,” lights up the Miami skyline as it counts down the final seconds to the new year.

This year, the Big Orange is back with a refreshed look and upgraded lighting effects.

On Friday, organizers started setting up for the big night at the InterContinental Hotel in Downtown Miami. They have promised a dazzling show featuring live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities leading up to the midnight spectacle.
