Miley Cyrus shone in a cut-out little black dress at the Golden Globes
Miley Cyrus just kicked off the year with an exploration of subversive glamour.
The singer and face of Gucci Beauty made a grand entrance at the 82nd Golden Globes in a slinky black gown courtesy of Celine.
The slip dress had a plunging neckline and cut-outs all over the bodice that were adorned with shimmering silver sequins along the edges, with an open back that showcased Cyrus' collection of tattoos.
In true form, the pop star wore the piece with black sunglasses, subtle diamond jewellery from De Beers, topping off the look with a Noughties-style up-do, with contrasting highlights and spiky strands.
Cyrus was not up for an acting award last night, but she was nominated in the category of Best Original Song—Motion Picture for her track "Beautiful That Way" from The Last Showgirl, which she co-wrote with Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Zachrisson.
Other songs nominated in the category were “Compress/Repress” from Challengers (Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Luca Guadagnino), “El Mal” from Emilia Pérez (Clément Ducol, Camille, Jacques Audiard), “Forbidden Road” from Better Man (Robbie Williams, Freddy Wexler, Sacha Skarbek), “Kiss the Sky” from The Wild Robot (Delacey, Jordan K. Johnson, Stefan Johnson, Maren Morris, Michael Pollack, Ali Tamposi), and “Mi Camino” from Emilia Pérez (Clément Ducol, Camille).
In her recent cover interview with Harper's Bazaar US, the Malibu singer opened up about growing up as a child actor, being raised in the spotlight, her current low-key life with boyfriend Maxx Morando, and her upcoming album, which has been years in the making.
