Mindy Kaling's signature style is all about embracing colour.

On Tuesday, the actress and comedian shared photos of herself to Instagram wearing a matching pastel yellow linen crop top ($222 CAD/$175 USD) and matching skirt ($285 CAD/$225 USD) by Staud.

Kaling paired the look with a yellow and white Mehry Mu heart-shaped bag, a Toni Link Bracelet from Jenny Bird ($137 CAD/$108 USD) and white Yves Saint Laurent stilettos.

“Spring is sprangin',” Kaling captioned the post.

The star's celebrity pals were quick to comment on Kaling’s post and shared their approval for the colourful ensemble.

“Mindy, you look unreal,” Canadian stylist Jessica Mulroney commented.

“So freakin’ beautiful,” wrote fellow actress Olivia Munn.

“I've always loved you in yellow. Darling!" raved "The Mindy Project" and "Dollface" star Beth Grant.

"OK yellow is honestly your colour," replied real estate agent and "Selling Sunset" star Christine Quinn.

Kaling’s followers were also huge fans of her pastel spring look.

"Omg that yellow looks amazing on you!" one fan raved.

"You look amazing! I think I will try wearing yellow now seeing how amazing it looks on you,” another chimed in.

"Mindy is having a Hot Girl Summer and I'm all the way here for it!" someone replied.

"You are the cutest little ray of sunshine,” another fan added.

The multi-talented star has been front-and-centre as a writer for some of the hottest television shows, like Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” and HBO’s “The Sex Lives of College Girls.” She’s also writing the screenplay for the upcoming “Legally Blonde 3” film.

In addition to her busy schedule, the 42-year-old is a single parent to two children, Katherine and Spencer, whom she considers her pride and joy.

“The biggest reward is seeing how happy my children are,” Kaling told Yahoo Life earlier this year. “Like, they're just so full of joy and so funny. There's nothing jaded or cynical about them ... they just love life. For whatever reason, they have no fear in expressing themselves."
