Mullets galore: Video shows a peek into a teen bedroom left in 'original' 1980s condition

It's a real-life blast from the past!

Nicole Chalawich of Michigan gave the world a peek inside her sister's preserved childhood bedroom, which exudes the ultimate 1980s energy.

Footage shared of the time capsule shows posters of teen heartthrobs from that era and popular bands like Metallica plastered on the walls.

"They kept everything up," Chalawich said in the video. "I love this so much."

Chalawich told Storyful that the room is in "original 80s condition," adding that it reminds her of her teenage years. The video initially posted on TikTok has over 5 million views as of Wednesday afternoon.

Chalawich recently connected with sister

The bedroom belongs to her sister, whom she recently met after doing an ancestry test.

"I would have given anything to have had her back then," she wrote in the caption of a follow-up video. "It breaks my heart that I didn't, but we have each other now."
