The must-haves for a Chiefs WAG heading to the Super Bowl: Lip gloss & cell phone light
Chariah Gordon, the fiance of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman, just chalked up a winning season of game-day fits as one of the team’s most high-profile WAGs.
Fashion-wise, the Super Bowl is her championship game, too.
She arrived in New Orleans late in the week. On Sunday she posted an Instagram Story showing makeup stations set up in a hotel conference room where women, presumably Chiefs family members, were having their hair curled and makeup done.
As her style team worked on her, Gordon was dressed for comfort in slippers and Chiefs-red pajamas from Victoria’s Secret.
She gave People magazine a sneak peek at her prep and shared what essentials she carries with her on game days.
Her call time Sunday was 8:30 a.m. for the game that kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Central Time.
She told People that her “positive energy” is her only good luck charm.
And she will be taking lip gloss, lip liner, a light for her cell phone for selfies, a phone charger — and oh yeah, her Super Bowl credentials — to the game.
And how long will her day be?
“If they win, probably all night,” she said.
Gordon was one of the first Chiefs WAGs — wives and girlfriends — to post a photo of herself with another famous Chiefs WAG, Taylor Swift, when the pop star began dating tight end Travis Kelce in 2023.
When Swift drew criticism early on for how many times TV cameras showed her during games, Gordon told People that Swift was focused on cheering for Kelce and the Chiefs.
“That’s just who she is,” Gordon told People. “She’s fun, she’s loving, she’s sweet. We have a good time and we are there to support our men. She’s just one of the sweetest people ever ... that’s just that.”
