Dior hires Miu Miu CEO Benedetta Petruzzo as managing director
Miu Miu's CEO Benedetta Petruzzo has been named managing director of LVMH-owned Christian Dior Couture, effective Oct. 15. Petruzzo succeeds Charles Delapalm, who Dior says will "take on important new responsibilities within the LVMH Group," and reports directly to Dior's CEO Delphine Arnault. Since being named Miu Miu's CEO in 2020, Petruzzo oversaw a period of explosive growth; the brand's revenues nearly doubled in the first half of 2024. {Business of Fashion/paywalled}

Zara taps Stefano Pilati for capsule collection
Zara and Stefano Pilati are collaborating on a capsule collection that translates Pilati's personal style into about 50 pieces for men and 30 for women that will be available in early October. With a campaign photographed by Steven Meisel, the collection will also include shoes and bags. Recently, the former Yves Saint Laurent creative director has focused on Random Identities, the gender-fluid menswear line Pilati rebooted last year, and has become a style icon for younger generations. {WWD/paywalled}

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund's Americans in Paris initiative returns
The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Vogue's Americans in Paris initiative is returning this Paris Fashion Week, supported by Instagram and Supima. The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, currently in its 20th year, will bring together eight alumni designers to showcase their collections: Alejandra Alonso RojasChristopher John RogersRachel Scott of Diotima, Aku Shabaka and Rebecca Henry of House of Aama, Conley Averett of Judy TurnerKim Shui, Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kassel of Tanner Fletcher, and Henry Zankov of Zankov.
