Natalie Portman Layers Wool Peacoat Over Gothic Minidress at Dior’s Fall 2025 Fashion Show in Paris
Natalie Portman put an antique spin on the little black dress at Dior’s fall 2025 fashion show in Paris on Tuesday.
The actress and longtime spokesmodel for the label’s fragrances modeled a long-sleeved taffeta minidress featuring lace panels, puff sleeves and a high neckline. Adorned with gilded buttons, her look nodded to fashions of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, key influences of the goth subculture.

Portman also wore a wool peacoat, adding on knee-high boots embellished with bows. A pair of wayfarer frames — also by the French fashion house — completed her look.
In October, Portman attended the 2024 Balloon d’Or ceremony in Paris, which honors the best football players, teams and coaches of the year. The Oscar winner is a co-owner of the American soccer team Angel City FC alongside Serena Williams, Jessica Chastain and America Ferrera.
At the Balloon d’Or ceremony, Portman sported a plunging navy velvet gown with batwing sleeves, pairing it with diamond-encrusted earrings and rings.
The “Lady in the Lake” star currently works with stylist Ryan Hastings, whose other A-list clients include Ryan Gosling and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Last fall, Portman joined Robert Pattinson and Ana de Armas as presenters for the annual LVMH Prize. The former presented the grand prize, which included a cash endowment of 400,000 euros and mentorship by the French luxury conglomerate, to designer Ellen Hodakova Larsson of the eponymous label Hodakova.
Portman also sat on the jury alongside a group of LVMH’s star couturiers, marking the first time an LVMH brand ambassador has been involved in judging the prestigious award.
