George Clooney and Adam Sandler are joining forces for a new movie.

The actors are set to star a new film by Barbie co-writer Noah Baumbach for Netflix, The Hollywood Reporter reported Thursday.

Baumbach, 54, who co-wrote Barbie with his partner Greta Gerwig, will also direct and produce the film.

The plot for the upcoming Netflix project is being kept under wraps, per THR.

The flick marks Baumbach’s fourth feature for Netflix following Marriage Story, White Noise and The Meyerowitz Stories, which starred Sandler, 57.

Sandler’s latest project was also for Netflix, with the Murder Mystery 2 star voicing a school’s class lizard in the animated movie Leo.

The news of Sandler and Clooney’s casting comes after Clooney, 62, shared his thoughts on the reports that Barbie costars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are set to play his Ocean’s Eleven character Danny Ocean’s parents in an upcoming film in the heist movie franchise.

Speaking with reporters at the Los Angeles premiere of The Boys in the Boat on Monday, Clooney shared that he’d heard about the new film and added, “Margot Robbie is my mother? I've always thought that.”

“Ryan Gosling is my father,” he continued. “Now when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly.”

It was revealed that the costars were reuniting for the project by the film’s producer Josey McNamara.

"They’re wonderful together," McNamara told GamesRadar+ in October of Robbie, 33, and Gosling, 43. "The more projects even outside of that we can have them do would be amazing."
